This is a love story… Southside boy meets Northside girl.

Lloyd, grew up in the south side of Chicago eating homemade bagels that came from a family recipe dating back to the 1600s.

Devin, was raised around her bubbe's legendary bagel brunches, where lox and bagels were tradition. Guilt Free!

They met in downtown Chicago and fell in love. Together, they founded the first black-owned, woman-owned bagel company, using a 400-year-old family recipe to create the pioneering Black+Jewish bagel.
